Analysis of Automatic Steering Failure of Walking Tractor

One of the reasons is that the temperature in winter is low, and the viscosity of the lubricant increases. As a result, the return resistance of the steering spring increases, and the return time is too long. When the steering is completed, when the steering handle is released, the walking tractor still has to automatically continue to turn to one side.

The second reason is that the steering spring becomes soft, causing the side steering teeth to be automatically disengaged; or when the steering ends, the steering teeth cannot be fitted back in time.

The third reason is that when the spring is assembled, the direction is incorrectly installed, so that the spring is deformed or twisted and the steering gear is disengaged.

The fourth reason is that when the gear is reinstalled or the gear is replaced, the direction of the central transmission gear is mistakenly reversed, resulting in insufficient alignment of the dental arch. When the load is suddenly changed, the dental arch is disengaged, causing automatic steering.

The fifth reason is that the speed reduction gear stop ring is damaged or escapes from the groove, resulting in that the steering gear is disengaged from the reduction gear; or the claws of the claws are worn, resulting in automatic disengagement of the jaws.
