One is to add nutrition in a timely manner. Increase animal protein raw material in feed and double add multivitamins to supplement nutrition. The nutritional level of the common fall duck diet was 18% of crude protein, 0.3% of methionine, 0.7% of lysine, 8% of crude fiber, 3% of calcium, and 0.6% of phosphorus.
The second is reasonable feeding. The amount of fine material fed on autumn ducks should be determined by the rate of laying of ducks. If the ducklings have an egg production rate of more than 50%, fine concentrates may be added. Otherwise, you can feed some green feed or increase the amount of bran used in the concentrate, while reducing the amount of carbohydrates used.
The third is to maintain a suitable environment. The physiology and living habits of ducks and ducks require that the environment in which they live should not only have pools that can play, but also dry places. The water depth of the pool should be more than 1.5 meters and the water quality is good. The event site should be paved with some fine sand. Ducks are highly metabolized in the fall, so they are sensitive to the environment, so don't change feed ingredients easily. If you really need to change, you should go from little to many, and you must gradually change the feeding method or change the technical operation procedures. If the temperature is too high, it can prolong the time for the ducks to rest under the tree or increase the number of duck baths.
The fourth is to increase lighting. Insufficient illumination in autumn can easily lead to a decrease in egg production rate in ducks. Two sets of lighting equipment can be installed in the house to supplement the light. One set of bulbs of about 15 watts is used for the rest of the ducks, another set of 60 watt bulbs, for feeding the ducks and stimulating the activities of the ducks.
The fifth is mandatory moulting. Ducks naturally spend up to 150 days in moulting, and they can implement mandatory moulting in their production to shorten their period of abstinence. It should be noted that on the day of mandatory moulting, ducks should not be bathed to prevent infection.
