Many citizens have found that the price of moon cakes has not only risen this year, but also the varieties have changed. The types of fruit moon cakes have decreased a lot. Other kinds of additives have also been banned from adding moon cakes. Therefore, some fruit-flavored moon cakes have been eliminated, and moon cakes with raw fruit flavors are preserved. "In addition, the standard also stipulates that fruit moon cakes should be labeled with fruit content, and fruit-flavored moon cakes should be labeled with flavor content."

Due to the late issuance of the new national standard, moon cake manufacturers plan and launch their products more and more time. Some manufacturers have shifted their attention from developing new taste products to promoting traditional flavor moon cakes.
