Once infected, the bacteria spread rapidly, from the first mushroom to the general infection to 20-30 days, the size of the fruiting body can be at any time. It takes 3-5 days from the appearance of brown patches to the entire mushroom body to become dark brown and shrinking to death. However, this fungus only harms the fruiting body of the mushroom and is basically harmless to the mushroom mycelium. Therefore, the mushroom bed can still produce mushrooms normally after winter.
