Out of sub-health siege

“My lab sheet is normal. Why do you feel weak, dizzy, and apathetic? There is no appetite?” a young soldier asked the doctor with a questioning hand in his hands.

The doctor inquired in detail about the patient's lifestyle, work habits and diet. He pointed out: "This is a signal of illness. You are in a sub-health state."

Sub-health refers to the marginal state of the human body between health and disease, no organic disease, but functional changes. It is closely related to brain fatigue, also known as fatigue syndrome.

Modern scientific research has found that the brain produces metabolic waste deposits, increased blood viscosity, and mental stress and other factors that cause microvascular contractions when overloaded, creating a so-called "blood-brain barrier," which prevents the timely supply of oxygen and nutrients to brain cells. Supplementation, endocrine disorders, sympathetic nervous system overexcitation, autonomic nervous system disorders, leading to brain fatigue, resulting in systemic symptoms, such as weakness, headache, dizziness, dry eyes, tinnitus, nasal congestion, palpitation, shortness of breath, insomnia, forgetfulness, get angry Constipation and so on. It will also make people less immune and susceptible to colds and epidemics.

According to a survey conducted by health authorities in ten cities in Beijing, 48% of the people are in sub-health status. Among them, coastal cities are higher than in inland cities. Mental laborers are higher than manual workers, and middle-aged people are higher than young people. Some experts predict that fatigue is the number one enemy of human health in the 21st century. It is an invisible “killer” that lurks inside the human body. It uses the “chronic suicide” method of “accumulation of diseases” to force the body to progress toward disease and death.

Stepping out of the sub-health "siege" and eliminating brain fatigue, we may try from the "four ones":

First, a way to exercise for yourself. Life is sport, and you must not give up because of busy work. According to your physical fitness, you can choose appropriate exercise methods, such as playing ball, jogging, doing exercises, etc., step by step, perseverance, which is the most effective way to eliminate fatigue.

Second, there is a good attitude of optimism. Healthy emotions promote blood circulation, facilitate gas exchange in the lungs, and facilitate brain relaxation. Therefore, taking part in group activities and helping others are beneficial to physical and mental health.

Third, there is a regular life habit. Responsive to the operation of the body's biological clock and rest, eating, work and rest are relatively stable, contribute to the metabolism, help to exert the best effect of various physiological functions.

Fourth, a reasonable dietary structure. A reasonable diet is the essence of longevity. The “Diet's Guidebook for Residents” published by the Nutrition Society of China is: Foods are diverse, cereals are the main ingredients; Eat more vegetables, fruits, and potatoes; Eat legumes or their products; Eat the right amount of fish, poultry, eggs, lean meat; Eat light Less salt; limited drinking; food intake and physical activity should be balanced to maintain a proper weight; eat clean and not bad food.

The World Health Organization put forward the "four cornerstones" of health: reasonable diet, proper exercise, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction, and psychological balance. We should follow this lifestyle and make our body healthier.
