Greenhouse strawberry control gray mold

Harmful symptoms

Botrytis can occur from flowering to fruit development at any time. Most of the disease starts from the flowering stage. The bacteria initially invade from the unsuccessful flower or the weaker part of the plant, causing the flower to appear light brown and necrotic and rot, producing a gray mold layer. Leaves mostly invade from the base of the old yellow leaf edge, forming a V-shaped yellow-brown spot, or infected from the falling part of the petals, forming a nearly round necrotic spot, there is no obvious ring pattern, sparse gray mold. Fruit infestation occurs because of spotting of fruit in contact with other rotting fruit, soil, or dripping water in the shed. The infected site initially turns white or light brown, and the symptoms can then extend to part or all of the fruit surface.

Control methods

Clean sheds: In the first year, the strawberry sheds were planted, and the weeds and sick plants in the shed were cleared before planting. The sheds that are planted in high density are treated with high-temperature stuffy sheds or chemicals to disinfect the soil.

Cultivation measures: high ridge mulching, reasonable planting density, drip irrigation and water saving techniques, timely removal of sick plants, removal of old leaves, diseased leaves, diseased fruits, and proper removal from the shed. After the watering and the snow fog weather, pay attention to ventilation, adjust the room temperature humidity, improve the air and light transmittance of the shed.

Biological control: In the early stages of disease, biological agents are used for prevention and control. With 99% mineral oil 200 times plus microbial fungicide 1 billion / CFU / g 600 times liquid spray, can effectively control strawberry gray mold.

Chemical control: In the early stage of disease, use 99% mineral oil 200 times plus 40% pyrimethanil suspension 800 times, or add 50% carbendazim WP 800 times, or add 50% omeprazole WP 1200 times spray. When the humidity in the greenhouse was too high, 20% Pythium chlorothalonil 300g/mu was used. The use of two or more agents alternately works better.

Precautions

1. Spraying is performed after the condensation has subsided in the sunny morning. Spray the surface, leaves and leaves evenly.

2. Cannot be used together with alkaline pesticides and copper preparations.

3. When using fumigant, do the enclosure to improve the control effect.

4. When applying pesticides and fumigation, it is necessary to do a good job of safety protection so as to avoid incidents of poisoning.
