Low-fat and high-fiber diet does not prevent cancer

The low-fat and high-fiber diet recommended by most nutrition experts around the world and for all health-conscious individuals is not a healthy panacea. Two recent studies by scientists in the United States have found that low-fat and high-fiber diets do not reduce the chance of developing colon cancer, but stressing that this healthy diet pattern will be beneficial to personal health. The two studies published in the British "New England Journal of Medicine" were conducted by researchers at the University of Arizona and the National Cancer Institute. The study also pointed out that low-fat and high-fiber diets can reduce the risk of heart disease and chronic diseases.
