(1) Stem blight is the main disease of asparagus. More on the ground when the stem was young and infested, began to appear milky white spots, later expanded into a spindle-shaped dark reddish-brown lesions, the surrounding water stains. As the lesion expands, its center is slightly sunken. Afterwards, the lesions faded to brownish to yellowish white, with most of the black small particles occurring. When the lesions circle around the stems and branches, the upper part is dry. The pathogens spend winters with conidia. The spores invaded the tender stems in late spring. It is easy to spread when it is warm and rainy. The prevention method is to remove diseased stems and dead branches scattered in the field. And set up the bracket to prevent stems, branches inverted. At the beginning of the onset, spray 0.3 to 0.4% Bordeaux mixture or 50% thiophanate wettable powder to add water 800 to 1000 times, and spray once every 7 to 10 days for 2 to 3 consecutive times.
(3) The newly hatched larvae of the Spodoptera litura larvae swarm and then gradually disperse and eat the plant leaves, which seriously affects photosynthesis. This worm has the habit of migrating to neighboring places in groups. The pupa and larvae spend the winter in the soil. The control method is to eliminate larvae before dispersion. Available 90% trichlorfon 1000 ~ 1500 times liquid, sprayed once every 10 days, 2 or 3 times in a row. Adult worms can be used when sweet vinegar or black light traps.
