How to properly use silage

When opening the pit, remove the mud from the pit side of the pit. Rectangular cellar should be open from one end of the upwind, and the material should be taken in sections on a cross section. The cross section taken should be kept horizontal and vertical. It must not be dug to the depth to avoid secondary fermentation. Round cellars should be taken from the surface layer by layer to keep the silage always on a flat surface. Take at least 6 to 7 centimeters thick each day, and use plastic sheeting to tightly seal the exposed surface after each reclaim to make it airtight. After the underground cellar is opened, the surrounding drainage work should be done to prevent the rainwater or melted snow from flowing into the pits, causing silty rotting. If silage on the surface deteriorates, it should be promptly removed and discarded.
