Breeding and High-yielding Cultivation Techniques of Qindou 10, a New Soybean Variety with High Yield and Good Quality

In recent years, we have newly bred Qindou 10, a new high-yield and disease-resistant variety, and now introduce its breeding process, quality, resistance and cultivation techniques as follows.
1 After the selection and breeding of Qindou No.10 original No.91(12)-10-10-3, it was the soybean research group of the Shaanxi Hybrid Rape Research Center using 85(22)-38-1-1 as the female parent and the Ji 81 as the female parent. The male parent was selected in 2000 after sexual hybridization and picking. In 1991, the hybrid P1 seed cultivars were added to the greenhouse to identify true and false hybrids based on the implicit relationship of their parents. The offspring were treated with the hybrid selection method and the F1 seeds harvested by generations were selected by the planter in the summer of that year. The F2 generation did not conduct the selection of the plants, but only eliminated the poor plants that had grown up and the rest were mixed. For the mixed plants, 2 to 3 picks were picked from each plant for mixing and threshing. The F3 generation was planted in 1993 and was harvested in the same way as the F2 generation. F4 generation was planted in 1994, and 30 excellent plants were selected in the F4 generation, and the number of selected plants was numbered. In 1995, all the selected plants will be planted in the identification nursery and the comparative strains will be tested. After field observation combined with indoor test, 10 excellent lines were selected and recorded as 91(12)-10. Later on, we continued to select and mix the strains for several years in succession.
2 Characteristics of the varieties The plant stands upright, astringent, round leaves, white flowers, brown hair, and sub-contracted habits. The average plant height was 104.6 cm, the effective branching was 1.84, the main stem was 18 nodes, the effective number of turns per plant was 42.86, the number of single plants was 88.44, and the one hundred kernel weight was about 19 g. Grain round, seed coat yellow, umbilical brown. When mature, the leaves are clear, not cracked, and the lodging resistance is poor. The summer sowing period is 112 days, which is a middle-maturing variety of summer soybean in Huanghuai Haizhong.
3 Production performance Qindou No. 10 participated in the comparison test of soybean varieties in our center from 2001 to 2002, with an average yield of 254.7 kg/mu, ranking first among the tested varieties, and significantly more than the control Qindou No.8. In 2003, he participated in the regional trial of national summer soybean varieties in the Huanghuai Haizhong region, with an average output of 188.08kg/mu at 8 points, an increase of 5.84% from the first control Ludou 11 and a 2.08% increase from the second control Ludou 99-1. It reached a very significant level. In the same year, the experimental site in Fuyang, Shaanxi Province yielded 243.97 kg/mu. In 2004, it continued to participate in regional trials in the district, with an average yield of 183.32 kg/mu, an increase of 5.24% over the control Ludou 99-1, and an extremely significant increase in production. The two-year average of 185.7kg/mu was 3.66% higher than the control Ludou 99-1. In the same year, they participated in the national summer Huanghuai Haizhong summer soybean production test, with an average yield of 188.48kg/mu, an increase of 9.17% from the control Ludou 99 to 1 and occupying the third place among the 7 tested varieties.
4 Quality and Resistance According to the samples tested by the Grain Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2003 and 2004, the average content of crude protein was 38.86%, and the average content of crude fat was 21.18%. The total amount of both was 60.04%. According to the identification results of National Soybean Improvement Center of Nanjing Agricultural University, it is believed that this variety is resistant to soybean mosaic virus disease and has a sense of soybean cyst nematode disease.
5 Appropriate promotion of the regional Qindou 10 was passed by the state trial (Guodou Bean 2005023) in May 2005, and it is a middle-maturing high-yield summer soybean plant in Huanghuaihai (middle piece), suitable for central Henan, southern Shanxi, and Shaanxi Guanzhong Plain in summer. Planting.
6 Cultivation Techniques
6.1 Sowing date and sowing date The sowing date is suitable from May 20th to June 15th. Fine soil preparation and adequate planting are required to preserve the seedlings. Sowing requires uniform shades and uniform seeds. Depth 4 ~ 5cm. Mu sowing volume 5 ~ 6kg.
6.2 Properly planting a row spacing of 30 to 40 cm, when the compound leaves appear, the seedlings will be planted, and 1.8 to 24,000 plants will be planted per acre. For well-oiled plots, the density should be controlled within 20,000 plants.
6.3 Scientific fertilization, reasonable irrigation combined with site preparation, 10 kg of diammonium phosphate or 40 kg of superphosphate and 5 kg of potassium sulfate per mu. Flowering period according to growing trend, topdressing urea 2.5 ~ 5kg per acre. Planted land is sufficient for irrigation at the seedling stage. The flowering period is the critical period of soybean water demand. In this period, it should be irrigated in case of drought, so as to facilitate flowering and conservation and to seize the high yield of soybean.
6.4 Strengthen field management During the whole growth period of soybean, cultivator should be carried out 2 or 3 times. In order to conserve water, the cultivator should not be shallow. The first cultivator should be conducted promptly after the emergence of soybeans; the second cultivator should be carried out after the seedlings are set. Combined with Dingmiao, remove the weeds between the plants. In the late growth period of soybeans, remove large grass once. Soybean-growing plots should be rotated for 3 to 5 years to reduce the occurrence of pests and diseases, especially cyst nematode disease. Soybean seedlings, should pay attention to the control of aphids, cabbage caterpillars, 7 to August attention to control of spider mites, soybean borer and other pests.
6.5 Rational control Due to the higher plant size, attention should be paid to controlling the length of soybeans during the flood years. Generally in the early flowering stage and the pod stage, 15% paclobutrazol wettable powder solution can be sprayed twice, each time about 30 to 40g per mu.
