Guangdong Evergreen

Guangdong evergreen, also known as "Shiramus," is a popular indoor foliage plant belonging to the genus *Aglaonema* in the Araceae family. It features glossy, vibrant leaves, sturdy and upright stems, and distinct leaf patterns that resemble bamboo nodes. This plant is highly resilient, thriving even in low-light conditions and requiring minimal care. With proper water, it can develop long roots and is widely cultivated indoors for its ornamental value. Native to regions such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, and the Philippines, Guangdong evergreen prefers warm, humid environments and is highly shade-tolerant. It can even grow well in dimly lit indoor spaces. While it can withstand direct sunlight, it's best to avoid intense summer sun, which may cause leaf burn. This plant can survive winter if temperatures remain above 0°C. It adapts well to various soil types, especially fertile garden soil. Propagation through cuttings or runners is straightforward. Cuttings taken from 1–3 node sections and dusted with ash on the cut ends tend to root quickly in sand or soil, usually within two weeks. Water propagation is also effective. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light, making it ideal for areas like the north side of buildings or under trees where morning and evening sun is visible during spring and autumn. In summer, it should be protected from strong midday sun to prevent yellowing leaves. During the growing season, keep the soil consistently moist. Mist the leaves twice daily in summer to maintain humidity, clean the foliage, and promote healthy growth. Every half month, you can apply a diluted liquid fertilizer to ensure lush green foliage. Guangdong evergreen has strong axillary bud development. After pruning, new shoots often emerge from the top, helping to maintain a compact and attractive shape. If plants become too tall or leggy, regular pruning encourages bushier growth. The cuttings obtained from pruning are also suitable for propagation, provided they are not overly tender. In winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings to improve cold tolerance. However, avoid letting the soil become completely dry, as this can cause lower leaves to yellow. Maintaining a balanced moisture level is key to keeping the plant healthy and vibrant throughout the year.

Wound Protector/Retractors

Custom size medical incision protectors are medical devices specially designed to protect surgical incisions from external contaminants and mechanical damage. They are designed to fit snugly over the incision area and provide a barrier against bacteria, fluids, and other harmful substances that could lead to infection.

To create custom-sized medical incision protectors, medical professionals use advanced 3D scanning and printing technology to create an exact mold of the patient's incision area. This mold is then used to create a custom incision protector that perfectly fits the patient's unique anatomy.

These devices are usually made of medical-grade silicone or other biocompatible materials that are safe for use in the human body. They are easy to apply and remove, and can be reused many times.

Custom sized medical incision protectors are commonly used in a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, cardiac, and plastic surgery. They are an important tool in preventing postoperative infection and ensuring optimal healing outcomes for patients.
