Ginbo Fermenter's greenhouse warming

1. **Buckle Shed Protection**. To protect crops during Winter, use low-temperature-resistant plastic film to cover the shed or buckle shed. This helps prevent frost damage and allows the greenhouse to thaw earlier in Spring, giving plants a head start. 2. **Trench Digging**. After the soil is prepared, dig trenches 20–30 cm wide where the plants will be placed. Remove the top layer of frozen soil and dig down 20–30 cm to allow the soil to dry out. Once the trench is ready, plant directly into it and then refill the soil. This method helps speed up the thawing process and raises the ground temperature. 3. **Shallow Planting**. When planting seedlings, ensure they are level with or slightly above the ground surface—avoid planting too deep. After planting, water gently without using flood irrigation to prevent root rot and maintain proper moisture levels. 4. **Side Ditch Creation**. After shallow planting, create small ditches about 5 cm away from the base of the seedlings. If the ground temperature is high enough, you can add fertilizer to these ditches. Additionally, perform deep hoeing between the rows to improve soil aeration, warmth, and overall crop growth. 5. **Multi-Layer Covering**. In small plastic greenhouses, add an inner layer of plastic film to raise the air temperature by 2–4°C and the ground temperature by 1–2°C. For larger greenhouses, two layers of plastic curtains can be used at night to increase the temperature by 1–2°C on average. Placing a 1-meter-high layer of straw or grass around the greenhouse can also help raise the internal temperature by 1–2°C. 6. **System Fermentation Reactor**. Cut crop stalks into 5–10 cm pieces and mix them with animal manure and a small amount of microbial starter. Adjust the moisture to about 60%. This composting method can raise the temperature inside the greenhouse by 1–2°C and the soil temperature by 3–4°C. Not only does this provide natural heating, but it also produces high-quality organic fertilizer for future use. This set of techniques is ideal for gardeners and farmers looking to extend the growing season and improve crop performance in colder climates. With careful planning and implementation, these methods can significantly boost productivity while maintaining sustainable practices.
