Morphological Features

The plant has a semi-timbered, upright structure, with a height ranging from 30 to 180 centimeters. The entire plant contains white milky sap, and the young branches are covered in fine hair. The leaves are opposite or alternate, with a pointed tip. During spring to early summer, the inflorescences are arranged in umbels, either axillary or terminal. Each flower has a pedicel, a corolla with five deep lobes that turn upward, and the corolla is yellow in color. The crown also has five golden parts. After flowering, the fruits develop into pods, which open when mature.

It can bloom almost all year round in southern regions of China.

Growth Habits:
