During the summer silkworm rearing season, it's a critical time for pest control, and preventing pesticide poisoning is essential. Keeping cats in the silkworm area can significantly reduce rodent damage and improve overall safety.
During the hot summer months, maintaining a cool environment in the silkworm room is essential. Spraying well water early in the day and hanging damp cloths or wet grass curtains can help lower the temperature. Keep doors and windows closed during the day to block out hot air. At night, when temperatures drop, open all windows and spray the mulberry leaves with clean water. Using electric fans to circulate air indoors is also an effective way to manage high temperatures and create a healthier environment for the silkworms.
